Last week I announced a small and quick, but hopefully still useful and interesting, project where you were all invited to suggest underrated tracks for a mention here in the blog.
The deadline passed several days ago (but due to some problems I’ve been unable to post during the past few days – thus the lack of activity this week), and now we have one selected for you all to try out
Unfortunately, though, it’s not a Stadium track, so this one is for all United players
Hypocrisy, by DeaD.oas (Bay)
This Bay track is one that offers a true challenge. It’s quite difficult – yet not of the real madness kind, which I consider a good thing in this case – and is likely to require a few tries before you reach the finish line the first time. What really makes it interesting, though, is the innovative use of traditional scenery blocks as part of the track itself. This is something I personally am a fan of, and DeaD includes it in a very well-created way. Jumps and stunts that require precision and the maintaining of high speed (which is essentially why it’s so difficult, although secondary routes are included), and which make the track quite intense and satisfying. Originality at its best!
An honorable mention should also go to the author Nillstorn, who had two very good tracks in the nomination pool, including the non-slide track 20 – Isly: Hotel Tour. An author that deserves more attention!
Know of any other underrated tracks? Feel free to suggest them in the comments, and perhaps they’ll be mentioned in the blog in the future
