Welcome to the Author Showcase, a project founded by Natzke on Trackmania Nations Exchange. We already made a lot of Interviews, with famous users like Ron Turbo, Panis and GanjaRider, but also normal TMX users like Quat or SeaDevil! We have gotten a lot of positive reactions to it. And we now got the great news that we can publish our Interviews on TMX Blog! We hope you enjoy it!

Hello folks, welcome to the new AS! A bit late, but it’s at least on tuesday :D This time we give you a regular TMX forum user and trackbuilder, and you will probably now him since you spotted him posting some sarcastic message! Well, let’s find out if he does the same on an interview, here is:

MNM!

1. Please tell us more about yourself (birthday, real name, place of birth, height, weight, favourite colour) and your background?
Right....My name is Morten, I'm 17(18 in December ;) ), 189cm tall, weight ~50kg(I know!! :O ) and White is my favourite colour :D

2. How did you get your nickname?
It's my initials =]

3. What made you become a track builder and who made the biggest influence at your beginning?
Well it was pretty easy to build maps with TrackMania. Always been a fan of Guykes, and when i got him as a BB in the BB/LB project back in nations, the techs just kept coming :P

4. Can you please guide us through a typical track project from start to finish and what part of track building do you find crucial?
Well if i have a good portion of a track thought out already in my head I make it in the editor and see if it works. If it does, I upload it to TMX, else I exit without saving it. Most important part is to have the idea/inspiration :D

5. Where do you find inspiration for tracks?
As a tech builder, It's mostly in cup maps

6. Can you tell us what great track builders need to posses besides versatile capability in track building?
You tell me :P

7. What is your general opinion of TM game, what is so addictive?
They're pretty good =P I dunno why they're so addicting, maybe because there are so many styles to drive. Something for everyone =]

8. What makes TMX so special place in your opinion and did TMX made influence at your life in any way?
It is a nice place for tracksharing and getting help with various problems you might have with anything in TM.

9. Can you share an entertaining story from TMX with us?
Nope =P

10. Could you share your virtues and flaws with us?
Meh

11. What is your daily routine and your favourite daily activity?
Wake up at 7.30->Go to school->Come home at about 15.00->WatchTV until midnite->Play Pokemon on my DS to about 2.00-> Sleeeeeeeep =D

12. Who made the biggest impact in your real life on you and why?
Cartman =D Eating potato chips and doing crazy shit all day, do want!

13. Tell us about a memorable moment in your life; a time you will never forget?
Drinking 8 literes of Coca Colain 30 minutes. Awesome!

14. What is the achievement you have made that you are most proud of in real life?
No achievements.....meh >_>

15. What are the goals you are still working towards?
Becoming a programmer =]

16. What’s your idea of a perfect vacation?
snowy weather, 20 degrees inside, Unlimited supply of Cola and Pizza, Action movies on Tv=D

17. Any phobias/addiction or both you’re willing to admit and could you tell your favourite food and drink?
Januy wouldnt let me write my phobia =P [I sure won’t – Januy] Addicted to Coke ofc ;) (Coca Cola that is, drugs are bad m'kay?) Pizza+ Coke=Win

Don't build if you don't have inspiration, that'll turn out pretty sucky^^ I play on the PPO servers and in most Norwegian servers
